Around lunch time, I took a tender to shore in search of some black earrings for Laura.
I went to the shop owned by the wife of our bus driver on Moorea. They treated me very nicely and spent over an hour trying to find just the right pair of earrings.
This is what I got. They are Grade A, 8 mm in diameter with yellow gold and a small cluster of diamonds. I think Laura will like them. If not, she can bring them back for exchange.
I walked from one end of the business district to the other, it took about 30 minutes. It was a hot muggy day. Then I jumped on a tender and returned to the ship where I spent the remainder of the afternoon reading and drinking piña coladas by the pool.
